About Me
My name is Chantal DeYoe. In college, one of my professors said, “With a name like that, you should write romance novels!”
Ah, well…
Instead,
I’m a homeschooling, homesteading mom.
I have until 2016 left for our formal homeschooling. We raise vegetables and fruits, milk and eggs, and meat.
I’m a Christian.
Summer 2010 I started working on memorizing Bible passages after I heard a speaker on Moody radio, Revive Our Hearts, talk about hiding the Word of God in our hearts. Whole passages, chapters, and books, rather than just single verses. Wow. It is an amazing blessing and I desire to continue memorizing throughout my life.
I play piano for church.
We should have an organist, but times are changing and we’ve had to settle for piano. I enjoy accompanying the choir, and playing for worship services has become a humbling blessing that I look forward to in spite of the tremendous responsibility I feel in that position.
I have goals.
In just a few more years I will fulfill my calling to homeschool. Wow. After that I hope to put that time into writing!
And a history.
In the form of a resume, or CV, if you will. I’m putting it all here for you to peruse at your leisure.
